Chief Accountant

Location: Warsaw

Job description:

  • Complete keeping of the books of account in compliance with the Accountancy Act;
  • Preparation of financial statements, reports, tax returns;
  • Supervision of proper circulation of accounting documents;
  • Fixed asset supervision and settlement;
  • Monitoring of changes in tax and accounting regulations;
  • Supervision of correct and timely closing of consecutive settlement months;
  • Substantive and organizational supervision of the accounting department;
  • Cooperation with tax authorities, contacts and cooperation with external institutions such as e.g. Tax Office, Central Statistical Office.

Requirements:

  • University degree in economics;
  • At least 3 years’ work in a similar position;
  • Knowledge of tax regulations (CIT, VAT, local taxes – property and means of transport taxes included);
  • Ability to draft annual and interim financial statements.

Independent Accountant

Location: Warsaw

Job description:

  • Managing the work of subordinate team;
  • Booking of documents, participation in the invoicing process,
  • Monitoring and handling of bank payments,
  • Drafting tax returns, information for the Central Statistical Office and other reports required by law;
  • Managing provisions and accruals,
  • Preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, profit and loss account),
  • Preparation and participation in the audit of financial statements,
  • Cooperation with Clients and employees,

Requirements:

  • Professional education,
  • At least 2 years’ experience in keeping the books of account,
  • Good command of English,
  • Very good knowledge of tax law provisions,
  • Good organization of work, diligence and accuracy,
  • Commitment to performance of tasks.

HR and payroll specialist

Location: Warsaw

Job description:

  • Drafting payroll and controlling documentation required for employee and contractor remuneration calculation
  • Preparing and archiving HR and payroll documentation
  • Drafting ZUS, PIT, PFRON and GUS returns and reports
  • Issuing salary certificates
  • Settlement of employee delegations to work abroad
  • Cooperation with authorities and supervisory body, correspondence with enforcement officers included
  • Independent drafting and correction of registration and settlement documents in the Płatnik program
  • Contacts with the Social Insurance Institution

Requirements:

  • Secondary education, economic profile
  • At least 2 years’ experience of work in the payroll department, experience of work in the HR/payroll department for a temporary employment agency will be an asset
  • Proficiency in using HR/payroll software
  • Knowledge of provisions: labor law, keeping of working time records included, social insurance, personal income tax and current executive provisions, knowledge of the Act on temporary employment will be an asset.
  • Very good organization of work, ability to work under pressure
  • Timeliness and accuracy
  • Experience in independent drafting of ZUS corrections
